Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Internship Programme

The IDC internship programme is a 24-month fixed-term contract that provides workplace experience underpinned by a carefully designed training program customized to allow one to gain valuable work experience, explore career paths, networking with professionals in the workplace while earning a stipend.

BCom Accounting/Financial Management (Management Accounting or Financial Accounting)
BTech Cost & Management Accounting
CTA or Honours in Finance or Accounting
Honours Information Science
Records Management
BCom (Law) or LLB
Honours Degree in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Risk, Finance,
Financial Modelling, Actuarial Science, Financial Econometrics, or Mathematical Economics
BEng. Industrial Engineering
BSc Environmental Science/Construction/Civil Engineering
BA or Postgraduate/Advanced Diploma in Journalism, Brand Communication, or Media Studies
National Diploma in Real-Estate Valuation or BSc Property Studies (SACPVP registration as a
Candidate Valuer advantageous)
National Diploma in Engineering (ASA registration advantageous for Plant and Machinery)
BSc Engineering Mechanical/Electrical (ECSA registration advantageous)
Matriculants living with disabilities
